Biography

I'm a Senior year undergrad interested in Federated Learning, ASR systems, HCI. I completed my research internship at IIT Delhi under The Marconi Society's Celestini India Program where I worked on developing a solution to increase women safety by detection distress situation in audio signals on mobile platforms.

When I'm not working on my laptop, you're likely to find me reading novels or making coffee.

  • Organised by Massachusetts Institute of Technology(MIT) India Inititiative and WeSchool, selected in Investigation and Journalism: Telling Tangible Tales. Exposed to journalistic documentation practices such as interviewing, photo-documentation and data collection and they created artifacts that are playful, responsive and tells stories.
  • MENopoly, how hard can it be, a board game which is a manifestation of various stages of life that a person goes through and presents a stark contrast between how they affect the male and female players differently, representing the realities of today's era. As the players are subjected to a myriad pf life situations, its ups and own and the culmination of the journey, they are left with a lasting impact.

  • Selected as an undergraduate researcher at Celestini Project India 2019.
  • Built a solution to tackle harassment against females using mobile microphone. Working on extracting real-time audio data feature extraction(MFCCs) using sliding windowing technique and building Machine Learning and Deep Learning models in TensorFlow to detect distress situations and deploying it in an android application using TensorflowLite and Firebase MLkit.
